The academic community of STEI SEBI through the SEBI Islamic Business and Economic Research Center (SIBERC) and Student Affairs organized a research school agenda with the theme "Islamic Economics Research School (IERS)" at a basic level. The agenda which was held on Wednesday (24/3) was attended by dozens of STEI SEBI students who are members of the GenBI organization or scholarship recipients from Bank Indonesia.
Fahmi Syahbuddin, SEI, MM as Deputy Chair of 3 Academic Affairs of STEI SEBI stated that this activity is very useful for producing young researchers who have the desire to develop Islamic economic research. "Friends are lucky to be able to participate in this research training because they have enriched information and can contribute to Islamic economic research," Fahmi said.
He added that this research school activity would be a contribution for STEI SEBI to produce young researchers. "This research school is a development program related to Islamic economic preaching. Hopefully this activity can produce new researchers, so that they become a continuation of the SEBI young researchers' relay, Fahmi continued.
The speakers in this activity were Dr. Ai Nur Bayinah, who provides direction on the IERS basic level agenda. "In doing research, we need to present a happy atmosphere, one of which is by choosing topics that we really like and want to know the results of the answers from the research," said Ai who is also the Executive Director of SIBERC.
"To start research, it can be started from looking for problems that make us curious, then proceed with collecting data, and ending with answering questions," he concluded.
